Making a sock puppet is really easy. Just follow the steps below and you’ll soon have your own to play with.

Step 1.

The first step is collecting the following materials:

• Yarn
• A sock
• Some thick paper or card
• A glass or anything circular
• A pair of scissors
• Eyes for puppet
• Glue

Step 2.

Now you have to trace the circle on the paper.

After tracing out the circle, you have to cut it out with the pair of scissors.

Step 3.

Next glue the circle to the toe end of the sock.

After the circle is glued to the sock, fold it in half so that your hand works with the mouth.

Step 4.

Now we come to beautifying your puppet 🙂 We are making the hair using the yarn. Just wrap the yarn around a piece of card / paper many times

After this, cut the yarn and then tie off one end, then cut the strands on the opposite side. The yarn will look like this:

Step 5.

Now you have to position the hair over the sock and fix it with glue.

Step 6.

Next glue on the eyes to the sock. Your puppet is done.

You can also add more details to your puppet, if you like.
